The Tithe Barn

The Tithe Barn hosted its first wedding in July 2021. It proved to be such a wonderful venue both acoustically and in terms of atmosphere that we would now like to be able to offer it to other couples looking for something a little different…

The Tithe Barn is actually just that: a tithe barn, built in the early 1600s and virtually unchanged - except for a new roof - to this day. It is open to the four winds with a stone threshing floor and doves in the rafters. It is very, very basic! But it is also the most beautiful, vast and atmospheric space and for those with vision, who want to do things their own way, it is the perfect ‘blank canvas’ on which to start designing a really spectacular day.
