Textile Design Studio
On the first floor at the North end of the long gallery, is the textile design studio of the house’s owner, Jenny Stringer. This is very much a working studio where visitors can see every stage in the process of making block-printed textiles, from the carving of the design to the final printing on cotton or linen. Many of the textiles that are made in the studio are for sale and Jenny also teaches block printing workshops.
